Reno series will be the Oppo Reno 8T, coming with 33W charging support

The new Oppo Reno 9 smartphone series made its debut in the Chinese market last week. But with regards to the successor, maybe Oppo has its mind set on the predecessor of this series. So now the company is planning to launch a new model soon under the Reno 8 lineup. And this demand is not ours! Rather, a new Reno 8 model has been spotted on the Internet in Halfil. This upcoming Reno-series phone may be officially launched with the name 'Oppo Reno8 T' or 'Oppo Reno 8T'. 

The phone has already been spotted appearing on multiple certification sites including TKDN, EEC, BIS, SIRIM, and Element Materials Technology. Due to which it is known that the upcoming Oppo Reno 8T phone will carry the model number CPH2481.

Other than the official name and charging speed of this upcoming Oppo handset, no information is available from the listings on the certification sites. In this case, the SIRIM certification site has revealed the marketing name of the phone. R Element Materials Technology claims that the device will support 33W fast wired charging.

Incidentally, English alphabets have been used in the naming of several Reno smartphones in the past. But almost every one of them was a rebranded device for select markets. But this case seems to be exceptional. Because, the upcoming Reno 8T has also recently been approved by the 'Bureau of Indian Standards' or BIS certification site, which means it will come to India. Although Oppo hasn't launched such a Reno-series smartphone in India for a long time.

However, the upcoming Oppo Reno 8 smartphone will only support 33W charging speed, so it may come at a more affordable price than the standard model in the series. Because the standard Reno 8 comes with 80W charging technology support. Hence, we guess other features of the Reno 8 phone may also be 'down-graded'.
