There will be a big surprise in the iPhone 14 Pro series, the display of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be used
Apple is expected to launch its upcoming iPhone 14 series of next-generation handsets in mid-September next month. It is already known that the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Max, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max will be unveiled at this year's 'Fall' launch event of the company. Although these models have been speculated for months, new information about these devices is coming to light as the launch time approaches. As recently reported, the iPhone 14 series 'Pro' models will come with the latest 'ProMotion' display (Apple's marketing term for high refresh rate), but it won't be seen on the base and Max models. But now a new report claims that the promotional display panels will be on every model in the iPhone 14 lineup.
All iPhone 14 models will get ProMotion display
According to a recent report by The Elec, the iPhone 14 (6.1-inch) and iPhone 14 Max (6.7-inch) will come with LTPS backplanes. They will be made using Samsung's M11 material set. This is an exclusive material set, which is currently used to make the display panels of the Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus and S22 Ultra.
Incidentally, the iPhone 14 Pro (6.1-inch) and iPhone 14 Pro Max (6.7-inch) will use an LTPO display plane with the promotion. This new panel will be made from Samsung's M12 material set. This material set has not yet been used for a smartphone display panel. But it is set to debut this month with the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Galaxy Z Flip 4 foldable devices.
Meanwhile, according to a new report, all four iPhone 14 variants will have displays manufactured by Samsung Electronics. As it was recently revealed, the company has received an order to supply 80 million or 8 crore screens. In addition, LG will also manufacture panels for both the standard iPhone 14 and premium iPhone 14 Pro Max models. The RS-L material set will be used to make them. LG last year produced the iPhone 13 panel with the RS-K set.
