Tecno Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition will change color like a chameleon

Tecno, a brand known for its entry and budget range smartphones, took the wraps off its camera-centric Tecno Camon 19 series handsets last June. Four models have entered the market under this series – Tecno Camon 19, Camon 19 Pro, Camon 19 Pro 5G and Camon 19 Neo. Currently, the company is preparing to launch the Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition as a special edition of the top-end model of the lineup Camon 19 Pro. Tecno has confirmed that the device with this special color-changing panel will be launched in the Indian market on September 14. The company has already started teasing the phone in this country.

Tecno Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition Specifications

The Tecno Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition will feature the same specifications as the Tecno Camon 19 Pro 4G launched in June, with a unique color changing rear shell. However, the most interesting thing about this particular model is the rectangular white blocks on its back panel, which can display different colors in sunlight.

Now let's talk about the specifications. The Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition will feature a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display, offering a full-HD+ resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels and a 120Hz refresh rate. The device will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 chipset, which will be paired with 8GB of RAM. The device runs HiOS 8.6 based on Android 12 custom skin.

For photography, the rear panel of the Tecno Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition features a 64-megapixel primary camera sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS), a 50-megapixel portrait lens and a 2-megapixel depth-sensing unit. And for taking selfies, there is a 32-megapixel front camera on the front of the phone.

For power backup, the Tecno Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition uses a 5,000mAh battery, which supports 33W fast charging. For security, it also has a side-facing fingerprint scanner. Besides, a microSD card slot will also be available on this handset for additional storage. For audio, the device includes a DTS audio stereo speaker.

Notably, a recent report claimed that the Mondrian Edition of the Camon 19 Pro could be priced within Rs 20,000 in India. Apart from Tecno's online store, it will also be available for purchase on Amazon India's site. Apart from the Camon 19 Pro Mondrian Edition, other models of the Camon 19 lineup, such as Camon 19, Camon 19 Neo and Camon 19 Pro 5G have already been launched in India.
