Honda Hawk 11: Honda's never-before-seen bike in the country, may be launched soon

Along with commuter motorbikes in India, Honda is also focusing on premium two-wheelers sold through BugWing. Hawk 11, which was unveiled at Japan's 'Osaka Motorcycle' exhibition in March last year, has now started the process of bringing it to this country as well. They have filed a patent for the bike in this country. Which has intensified the chances of the bike's launch here.

The upcoming model is a cafe racer design motorcycle. The company's two-wheeler has never been seen before in India. Talking about the performance, the Honda Hawk 11's 1,082 cc parallel twin, liquid cooled engine produces 100 hp of power and 104 Nm of torque. Mated to the powertrain is a 6-speed gearbox. This same engine is also offered in Honda's NT1100 and Africa Twin.

Honda Hawk 11 Features

Honda Hawk 11 features four riding modes – Sport, Standard, Rain and a user-preferred mode. It has LED illumination. ABS and Honda Selectable Torque Control are optional extras on the bike.

The Hawk 11 is based on a semi-double frame. Front and rear are monoshocks and Showa big piston forks. There are two front and one rear disc brakes with dual channel ABS. The bike rides on 17 inch alloy wheels with 120/70 front and 180/55 rear tires. The bike weighs 214 kg and has a seat height of 820 mm from the ground.

Honda Hawk 11 Launch and Price in India

The company has not yet opened its mouth regarding the launch of Hawke 11 in India. Even if the patent of the bike has been filed in this country, it cannot be said for sure that it will be launched. Because there have been signs of non-launch even after filing a patent in the past. In the Japanese market, the bike is priced at ¥13,97,000 in Graphite Black and Pearl Hawk Eye Blue color models. In Indian currency that is around Rs 8.44 lakhs.
