Honda Elevate: will run 679 km on full tank! People are surprised to hear the mileage of Honda Elevate
The pace of new model launches in the Indian medium-weight SUV market is increasing day by day. As a result, the competition in the segment is increasing by leaps and bounds. This time, Honda is going to launch the new model Elevate in the mid-size SUV segment. The Japanese company announced that it will come to the market next September. At the same time, Honda also revealed the mileage of the car. Test-drives of the car will begin from mid-August.
The new Honda Elevate will compete with several SUVs in the Indian market. For example – Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq and MG Astor. The car can be optioned with a 1.5 liter 4-cylinder, petrol engine. From which maximum power of 121 bhp and torque of 145 Nm will be generated. 6-speed manual and 7-speed CVT automatic transmission options will be available. Honda is not bringing a hybrid version. However, its electric variant may be launched in 2025.
Honda claims a mileage of 15.31 kmpl for the manual version of their Elevate. Where in CVT one liter of fuel can run 16.92 km. The car has a 40 liter fuel tank. The car has a range of 612 km (manual variant) on full fuel. Again the CVT model will run 679 km.
In terms of size, length, width, height and wheelbase of Honda Elevate are 4312 mm, 1790 mm, 1650 mm and 2650 mm respectively. It offers the best ground clearance in the segment at 220mm. The car can be chosen in four trims – SV, V, VX and ZX. The base variant gets fabric upholstery, auto AC, 60:40 split rear seat, engine push-up button, 16-inch wheels, LED headlamps and taillamps and dual front airbags.
